How could we change "How the world change social media"?

Just a quick post to gauge what others are thinking. I've been finding the How the World Change Social Media book interesting, but I'm wondering how it would feel with with a different organization. Instead of chapters by topic, I might prefer chapters by field site, with each author covering the same themes within the same order. I know this would make the text less useful for a general public, especially those who only want to focus on one section. However, the cursory nature by which each field site is addressed within one chapter, without any thick description, can at times read like shoddy qualitative research based on short surveys or focus groups. Rather than drawing patterns about meaning across topics, I'd prefer to see how meaning is created within each community. I think we're also missing a unique authorial voice. Just thoughts - would be interested to see what others think.
