Since we all seem to have a few questions about the contexts and the motivations of Adriana Petryna's book, I found an interview with her about "When Experiments Travel" linked to her faculty page on the UPenn website. It's not terribly long and might be of some value to those of us who are interested in how she started her work in this "globalized experimentality," and where she hopes her work might go following this text.
