Here are the class notes from Wednesday. I wrote these notes in a transcription format and then edited them down a little, removing the markers of who is speaking for a sort of "class discussion narrative". To summarize:
1) Logistical Comments (stuff about assignments, confidentiality and blogging, things to think about when beginning the mini ethnography project) (1 page).
2) Class Discussion of Articles
In general, our thoughts on how neophytes are socialized into their respective scientific disciplines. (6 pages condensed). If anyone is still wanting more reflection on what exactly is social constructionism, there is some of that in these notes also.
